Senator Chris Nybo is currently seeking volunteer interns ages 18 and older to work with his legislative office for the spring semester.
“My Legislative Internship Program provides a unique opportunity for community-minded young people to learn more about state government, current issues, legislation and constituent contact,” said Senator Nybo.
Applications can be downloaded by clicking here. Applicants are also asked to provide a resume by e-mail to email@example.com through Feb. 10.
The internship program will be offered from February through May, and provides hands-on experience in community relations and communications, monitoring local issues, along with research projects.
Senator Nybo’s district staff will work with students in need of education and community service credits. Internships are flexible in terms of hours and length of commitment for students who may have other obligations.
For more information regarding the internship program, contact Senator Nybo’s district office at 630/969-0990 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
